*Funniest Moment: Sloane talked my Dad into helping her play Words with Friends. After they played a word, he waited a minute, and then asked, "What's wrong with Miss Sweetie? (their opponent) Why doesn't she play?" The look on his 75-year old face when I explained that Miss Sweetie was a real person somewhere and who knows what she's doing right now, was priceless. He look aghast and shocked and promptly handed the iPad back to Sloane muttering, "That's crazy!" Sloane and I have been giggling about it all night.
*Best Purchase: a pretty bottle of blood orange soda at World Market for $0.99
*Moment of Awe: the mom who had kidney stones and came to parent-teacher conferences before heading to the hospital.
*Laugh till I had to Pee Moment: jumping on the hotel bed with Sloane
*What's Making me Happiest: a long weekend trip with my family
Happy weekend, friends.

You always delight with your lists. Amazing mom to stop for the conferences before the hospital. Would have loved seeing you and Sloane jumping on the bed. Nice images on flickr.
thanks for sharing the joy
and giggles
of your week
(love the happiness project!)

What a wonderful list. :) LOVE that October graphic, too.
The funniest moment made me smile. It's so hard to keep up with technology, even when you're younger. The kids I tutor already use iPads/iPhones/etc like natural extensions of their bodies. I don't have an iPad but I know 6 year olds who do.
I like the friday faves idea....I wouldn't have a clue what Words with Friends is either and I swear I'll never buy an iPad! I bought a bottle of blood orange fizzy drink the other day too...love blood oranges and adding fizz and sugar is even better!
love to you, dear relyn.
your lists are always
beautiful. xox
Such a happy post. Hubby and I just came back for a long weekend with family in NYC. We didn't jump on the bed (darn) but we had a blast.
Hope your week is grand.
