no one can eat just one

I am not a big cook, but I am a dessert lover. When my Mom sent me this simple recipe, I just had to pass it along. This dessert couldn't be easier and couldn't taste better.

Oreo Balls

1 Package of Oreos

8oz cream cheese softened

white almond bark

Crush the oreos (the smaller the better) and add the cream cheese. Roll the mixture into balls and chill. Next, melt the chocolate and roll the balls in it, chill when finished.

Betcha can't eat just one.

We make these cookies around the holiday time at work for a cookie exchange. They're the best and I agree, you certainly can't eat just one!!!

Oh lordy! Considering I just had a bag of Funyuns and an espresso for breakfast, these Oreo balls are right up my alley!

This recipe could become a staple in my diet!!!

PS. I asked someone at work who was born and grew up in Savannah about the goobers and RC cola and he didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about and actually looked at me like I was slightly crazy. I think he said something about there being different parts of the South. I'm so confused!

Tangobaby,

Once again this Jeffrey. Those fine folks from the coastal flatlands are a bit more refined than those of us from the mountain country of Tennessee and Georgia. The drawl slows down and sweetens a bit and the cuisine is more refined.

Jeffrey

We got to spend some time in Savannah last fall. That is one lovely city if you have never been.

Hi Jeffrey!

I feel very lucky that you keep stepping in to answer my silly questions. Perhaps Relyn is tired of me?!

I think you are a lovely guest blogger and are obviously a first-rate daddy and husband. Thanks for making an appearance here, so we know you are real!

;-)

ps. I have never been to Savannah. I have to admit that I have only been to Atlanta (once) and got quite lost because every road is named Peachtree something. But I did go to Waffle House. That is my only street cred. I know, that's pretty sad.

That might explain why I have all these questions.

This is just not fair, Relyn!

Oh no!! That looks very delicious and I shouldn't look at it at all; I've to watch my figure and its proportions! :D
I tried to find out what 'Oreos' might be, but I cannot find it. Is it a kind of chocolate? I would like to make these tasty things!

Oldies, but Goodies
