Yes!

i thank you god
for most this
amazing day; for
the leaping greenly
spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;
and for everything
which is natural
which is infinite
which is yes

~ e e cummings

And I am thankful for this day. This day of YES. Yes to Sloane spending a week with cousins, even though I'll miss her like mad. Yes to Jeffrey having a fishing/camping trip with his Dad, brother, nephew, and uncle. Yes to a week on my own, even though right now it makes me sad. Yes to taking time to create. Yes to finally finishing up three major projects. Yes to this blue true dream of sky. Yes to every amazing day I'm given.

Yay! Enjoy your time to yourself! Just when you start to get used to it, they'll be back! Wishing you much creativity! And that your muse reorganized her schedule to coincide with your newfound freedom.
Happy playing!

A quiet week...it will be different for sure but I'm sure you'll fall into a wonderful routine that will involve lots of hugs and kisses when Jeffery and Sloane return!

yes to being alone...

seriously...your spirit will grow like you can't imagine with the alone time you'll have and it will fly by and secretly you might even wish you had a little bit more..

enjoy the quiet and the alone meals and the emotional space that is only yours !!

Just think - a week of being able to do whatever you want, of being selfish with no one to judge. Exploring you again. How divine!

What Cam said. This is a beautiful, beautiful quote & where have I been that I have never heard it? But never mind - I have you to fill in the gaps. :) I live alone - I cannot imagine how it must feel to live with others & then have a week to oneself. it must feel wonderful & weird at the same time. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!

I'm thankful for our friendship. I think that now that I'm retired I feel less pressure and more time to nurture friendships and other aspects of my life. Can't wait to hear about your summer adventure!

Hope you had a great week alone. I can't imagine that long without my baby (yet). Let's just say some of us may have a little separation anxiety. :)

Love ya!
