August Break

Have you heard about Susanna Conway's August Break? I didn't think I'd play along because I generally have too many words I want to share. Just now, though, my words seem to have run out. Between all the family drama and back to school excitement, my mouth feels dry, my well of words almost empty. (Those of you who know me in person, quit laughing.)

I haven't taken a single picture since Arlen got so sick, and I need to get my camera back out. And so, I'm playing along. My hope is to share a little of my world with you each day using mostly my camera. Knowing me, I'll use at least a few words, too.

Happy August.

August Break, day 1. Photo: taken in Oregon during my visit with Robin.

I think breaks come when needed, August or whenever. I love to come here and be surrounded by good music, great words, soothing pictures. Thanks.

Just wanted you to know that I've been praying for Arlen. So thankful the surgery went well.

I'm also enjoying seeing your progression in photography. What a gorgeous photo today! Looking forward to more.

I recently posted only photos for a week and it was very refreshing to keep my words to myself for awhile. (I tend to be a might wordy myself. ;) Enjoy the process!

A gorgeous, gorgeous shot, Relyn, and I'm looking forward to more magic! Oh, and I get the feeling of being almost void of words. Sometimes pictures say it all so much better. Can you believe I'm saying that?!!? xo Gigi

i think our words are very important....but i'm learning that sometimes, "the quiet" that a fewer amount of them brings, is a beautiful thing.....

Relyn,

I think we all need a much needed break. As moms and wives we have so much to do we don't realize how much we accomplish in a single day. Enjoy your break!

Wanted to wish you a great weekend!

Lovely and creative. A picture speaks a thousand words. RIGHT??? :-)

I will miss your words; but I totally understand! Looking forward to hearing you speak through your words!

Love the way you're riding
the ebbs and flows,
such loveliness when you roll
with the rhythms instead
of trying to manhandle them.
Joy to you,
Jennifer

LOL! If you are like me, the words will sneak in a few at a time, and then, before you know it, you will be talking, talking, talking. :) I love you either way!!
