a thousand words

so in love

There is just something wonderful
about a baby coming, isn't there?

Does your heart give a glad little tickle
every time you see a pregnant woman?

Does it make your remember
what it felt like to carry your own child?

Does it make your remember waiting
for someone you love
to deliver a baby you still adore?

Does it make you think of your own family
and ache just a tiny bit in the tenderest of places?

It does me.

I recently had a maternity photoshoot. I loved it.

Oh, so sweet... that image is so lovely! I do feel happy when I see a pregnant woman, and hope she is well and joyful for the new life she will soon give. I also feel a touch of sadness though too, as I have not been able to know the joy of having a child of my own. So it's a mixed feeling. But mostly it is love. I send a little love to the newly blooming moms I encounter. Love make the world go round. ;o) Happy Day, Relyn ((HUGS))

We have several pregnant teachers at our school right now. It is so cute when they are standing talking to each other with their bellies. It is such an exciting time when a new baby is born.

I feel exactly the way Tracy does, happy but a little sad at the same time, not so much as I am older now, but when I was trying to have children, pregnant woman seemed to be everywhere. There is nothing more beautiful though., love the photo. take care.

What a fantastic photo, Relyn! Great framing and The vignette border is perfect.

I loved being pregnant so much that my boss warned me: "you better be careful or you will end up with a tribe." Fortunately I was of "advanced medical age" so a tribe was averted.

Lovely photo. Yes, it does bring back memories of another time with a babe in arms and nuzzling in their necks and smelling their sweetness. Oh, but I would love to have a grandchild to hold and love as I get older. Yes I sometimes ache for the tiny bit of tenderness.

Oh, Relyn, it brings up so many feelings for me. I am so emotional now as my 15 year old daughter is going through a very bad time right now. How easy it was when she was safe in my belly. This image is beautiful.

The promise of new life is so exciting, with the hopes and dreams of everyone involved. It also makes me sad when I see mums-to-be abusing their bodies by smoking and drinking alcohol, when they have been given the most precious gift. I feel this especially when I read the comments of your readers who have been unable to have children.

Beautiful simple picture, sums up everything you said.

Ah, I remember both the excitement of finding out and the cumbersome belly I had the last 6 or so weeks of pregnancy and being unable to get comfortable. It had been a while since we'd had any babies in my family when my granddaughter to her delightful and gorgeous daughter. I hadn't been that excited in years. God bless the future mama and her babe.

I went through a decade of feeling sad and jealous when I saw pregnant women, and then amazingly there I was, also expecting! I feel quite protective of pregnant women. And I think it is just THE most amazing thing that some of us get to help bring forth a human life.

Yes, I can still remember those little kicks, them turning over and that longing to "see" them. What great anticipation! What wonderful feelings! Thank you for reminding us.
