Personal Passions

Kodex No.1

Each spring for the past three years,
I've hosted a month of personal passions on my blog.
I invite friends to join me and we talk about our passions.

You see, I believe in living passionately.
I believe in laughing long and loud.
I believe in putting your full heart into everything you do - or why bother?

So, once a year I celebrate that.
I celebrate you.  I celebrate me.
I celebrate the little things in life that bring joy.

And, I'd like to invite you to join me.
Let's celebrate a more passionate life.
Let's examine and savor and cherish all our passions, large and small.
Let's think about how we live, how we choose to spend our time.
Let's talk about what's important to us, and what brings us joy.
Let's spend a little time with our personal passions.

Won't you join me?

This has a nice ring to it....

A while ago, lots of bloggers were listing things they were grateful for, or some such. Which kind of sounded blahhhhhhhhh. (Although I didn't say that, to any of them.)

But PASSIONS!!!!!! Spending time with our personal passions. Nothing blahhhhh about that!!!!

"A gush of bird-song, a patter of dew,
A cloud, and a rainbow's warning,
Suddenly sunshine and perfect blue--
An April day in the morning.”

I am all in for this. And I would bet that is not a surprise.

with no passion, life is derived of meaning... I'm happy to say that the fellow teachers in my building that they would miss the sound of my laughter. Of course, they were also saying that my laugh is LOUD. I miss you when you host others, but it also present an opportunity to expand our world.
blessings are wished for you this Holy Week.

Ever since I had a defibrillator inserted in my chest, I've vowed to enjoy my life and never look back. I want to live my life unafraid. It seems to be working. I laugh a lot more now.

Oh yes, I will join you. Passion is my word for this year and sometimes I forget to look at it. This is the perfect month for me to do that. I would love to laugh long and loud more often too.

I hope to always live with passion, to not live that way would be to simply exist.
