Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all women.
Whether or not you've given birth,
if you are a woman, you have been a mother.

You may have mentored younger women,
or loved children, nieces and nephews,
or given care and showered love on others without expecting anything in return.

That means you have been mothering.
Maybe not in the typical way, but in the heart's way.
And, that's what matters.

So, thank you.
And, happy Mother's Day.

Happy Mother's Day, my friend. I know of one little girl who is darned lucky to call you mom! Catching up after vacation. I've missed you!

Catching up after a couple weeks of company. Mother's Day blessings to you. What a blessing you are to so many little children.

Thanks Relyn, I needed that! Mother's Day is always hard for me. Mom is gone and I never got to be a mom so always bittersweet. Thank you for your words!

So beautifully said, Relyn. So like you to include everyone, even those of us that don't have children. Happy Mother's Day to you, dear friend! xo

LOVELY, Relyn! Hope you had a sweet day with your sweet girl and family! In a week I'll be traveling to visit my own mom--I can't wait to see her. This is a hard day for me though, as I would like to have been a mother. But I'm learning always ways to love & nurture others. :o) Happy Week ((HUGS))

Ditto what christinelaennec said. It's good of you to include all woman who mother in your thoughts about Mother's Day. Not too many people make that connection.

Oldies, but Goodies
