Color

You need color!  Everything is happier with color.
~ Sloane, age 10

She's right, isn't she?

Just think.  Who would ever buy white cotton candy?  Or black roses?

How much fun would it be to ride a gray merry-go-round?  Or an all-white carousel?

There's just something about a blue, blue sky and lush green grass.

Something special about striped circus tents and swirly striped lollypops.

Color.  Everything is happier with color.

Love color, I'm afraid some people might come in my house and think a paint store exploded there's so much color, but that's just me.

8-)
At the same time, black and white photographs have a beauty of their own.

White is mostly needed, to be a contrast between other bright colors. :-) At least my husband the gardener, feels thus.

"One ought, ever day at least, to hear
a little song, read a good poem, see a
fine picture, and, if it were possible,
to speak a few reasonable words."

~~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

She is definitely right. I look at beautiful home decors in white and soft tones and I love them, but then when I think about my house I can't see it without color.

You're so right, and I am loving color these days. I just discovered a blog called The French Tangerine. I'm telling you, it's a festival of gorgeous summer colors!

Have a great week!

Yes to colour although when you described a black, grey and white circus, I thought of The Night Circus. What a great book!

Oh, I so agree with you and Sloane! I do love pastels and vintage images but if I had to choose, it would be COLOR.

Happy Fourth of July to you, Sloane and Jeffrey!

That sweet girls of yours is so wise for her age! Color sweetens up life, doesn't it. As a creative person, much of my life revolves around and within color. My favorite colors are pink, turquoise/aqua blue and purple. :o) Happy Summer Days, Relyn ((HUGS))
