Friday Faves

 * Favorite Moment: We had a snow day yesterday.  Jeffrey made a fire and we all spent the day piled up in the living room reading in front of the fire and roasting marshmallows.  My favorite album, Yo Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone, was playing and all was right with the world.

* BLOGspiration: Hula Seventy

* What's Making Me Happiest: a date at the tearoom with my Mom and Sloane tomorrow

* Images of the Week: Cupcakes and Journaling by Fraulein Klein

* Best Gift: We went to Lawton, Oklahoma last weekend to celebrate my Papaw's 92nd birthday. While we were there, he gave me his old film cameras.  What a delight!  One of them have a half used roll of film still in it.

* Great Read: Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, read by Jim Dale

 * A Tip: This one is from Jennifer Louden: "I always leave a margin of time and energy around what I am doing."  This year I have been trying to not pack my schedule so tightly and my whole family has been much more content.

* In Case You Missed It: Why Don't You

* A Song: "You Are For Me" by Kari Jobe

* Quote of the Week: "Anyone who says, 'Nothing is impossible.' has never tried to slam a revolving door." ~ Chloe, a friend of Sloane's

* PINspiration: Beautiful Vignettes by Dawn Edmonson

* Some Things I Love: polka dots, libraries, white churches with steeples, Cadbury eggs, Pandora, fairy tales, making new blogging friends, Artful Blogging magazine, calendars, puppies, lace, vintage linens, Cath Kidston prints

Happy weekend, friends.

Great quote of the week. Very clever.

Jennifer Louden's idea of leaving some energy around what you're doing rings true with me. Will try to put my schedule together with that idea in mind.

Happy Friday, Relyn. Hope your weekend is wonderful.

Thank you for all these!

I love the quote too. Your recording of it made me realize I need to write down some things my Dad says...

I am sick today so it gives me something to do besides moan...And whinge...Though I'm sure I can sneak a few in...

Relyn,
Lovely, just lovely list this week. I had much fun checking out the Vignettes, oh to dream of cozy spaces and I especially loved the cupcakes and journaling images, made me want to go out and get a pretty new notebook to write in.
Hugs,
Karen

My half sister gave me her mother's camera with film half taken up. One of these days I will take the rest and then see what is there. I will wait until summer light. I love the things you love - vintage linens and fairy tales too.
