Friday Faves

* Something to Make: Let the kids help decorate the Thanksgiving table

* Anticipating: Sloane's big birthday gift was a trip to Branson to a hotel with an indoor water park for she and her best friend.  The package was two nights, water park, massive water guns to keep, and tickets to the IMAX.  It's going to be a fun weekend.

* A Song: "There's Gotta Be a Change" by Johnny Lang

* Great Read: The Rhythm of Family: Discovering a Sense of Wonder Through the Seasons by Amanda Blake Soule

* Quote of the Week: "One reason we struggle with insecurity  we're comparing our behind the scenes to everyone else's highlight reel."  ~ Steven Furtick
* BLOGspiration: 79 ideas

* Film Fancies: I have really BIG love for this living commercial for the Rijksmuseum

* Funny of the Week: Sloane and I were talking about superheroes, a subject on which she has very strong opinions.  For example, she hates Batman; the only decent story line, in mine.  I asked her how she could possibly hate Batman.  She said, "It's that stupid Robin.  He should be called, 'Robin, silly boy with no pants.'  NO PANTS!  Gimme a break!"  I don't think it translates as funny on the screen, but it was really, really funny.
