Don't you just love kid art?
* Great Read: Every summer I reread Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
* Something to Make: a driftwood sailboat
* Image of the Week: Wanderlust by Kristine May
* Anticipating: three photoshoots next week
* A Song: "Sunday Drive" by Paul Cardall
* Quote of the Week: "I stepped into the bookshop and breathed in that perfume of paper and magic that, strangely, no one had ever thought of bottling." ~ Carlos Ruiz Zafon
* Things I Love: Chopped on Food Network, casablanca lilies, film noir, freckles, Uniball Vision finepoint pens with pink ink, Jeffrey's homemade burritoes, the way we always have lunch delivered on Fridays - even during summer school, big rings, Tricia Tusa: illustrator, Fred Astaire movies, strawberries, cinnamon toast, and taking my watch off for the entire summer
* In Case You Missed It: Something Cheering
I have a summer cold, which triggers my breathing issues. UGH! Anyway, my apologies for the delayed Friday fun. Happy weekend, friends.

I am in love with the sailboat:). And another great quote - such a joy to find like minded people.
Beautiful always love to read your Friday postings and all of them.
Blessings
Happy First Day of Summer☼
Have a wonderful summer, rereading Jane Austen is always a good idea.
What a wonderful picture in chalk! It reminds me of a Chagall, somehow, in its lightheartedness and feeling of flying....
I always love your Friday fun times. Hope your cold is on it's way to being gone. Love the things your got along with the sailboat. Now I am following Kristine May on Tumblr. Oh how special, 3 photoshoots!!! And then all the other things you love. I don't have cable, but love Food Network when I do my 1/2 hour on the bicycle at the gym. It was wonderful not wearing a watch all last week, but it is an adjustment in my head not to wear it.
Bravo on taking your watch off
for the entire summer!
(hope it's the sweetest and gentlest you've ever known)
love to you in the sunshine,
Jennifer
I do love Pride & Prejudice. Sigh.
And I hope you're feeling oh-so much better!
