Sloane in the snow
After a long walk in the snow today, I was rewatching my favorite Ted Talk - again. And, Sarah Kay, asked the audience to take a moment and think of three things they knew to be true. She said, "... the only rule is don't think too hard." Of course, I paused the computer and started thinking too hard. Are you like that? Do you immediately over-think? I do.
Trying again; after a long pause to stop over-thinking. Ok, the first three things that entered my mind are these:
Jeffrey loves me. That makes my life joyous, peaceful, possible. I love him. That is inevitable, obvious, and a great joy. We are so very blessed.
Words and story are the second-most powerful force in the world. Images are the third. We all already know what the first is. Right?
I love the internet! Especially YouTube. When I spend time poking around, I find that my world grows, I get smarter, and I feel happier. Bonus, I always get up and get busy doing something in my own world, only now it's brighter.
What three things do you know to be true? Quick. Don't think too hard.

Three things I know to be true?
1. I have fallen in love with my husbands as the years go by more than when I first met him.
2. My faith is God continues to grow the more time I spend with Him.
3. Your family will always be there for you when others won't.

What a beautiful exercise Relyn! The first things that popped into my head is that I love that my cat is here with me as I type, I love how my life has changed and I love studying art. It's all so simple really, isn't it? Hope all is well!

Gosh, that's quite hard to do without being self-conscious! Now I will read what everyone else wrote. :-)

Three Things I know to be True:
There's no place like home.
My relationship with God is the most important thing in my life.
It's little things that make the difference.
Great exercise, Relyn. Wonder if our answers would change tomorrow?
I love this post, Relyn. The three things that I know to be true are: my faith and my family are the most important things in my life. Second, creativity and beauty is necessary, whether nature or poetry or making something, I have to look for the beauty. Third, I believe in dreams, no matter what your age and I try to look at life with childlike wonder and see the possibilities.
