Daydreaming...
I wandered into a book blog earlier this week. She asked the most intriguing question. If you were to suddenly find yourself inside a book, what book would you want that to be? Isn't that a most wonderful question? It led me into the most delightful of daydreams. I could think of so many books I would like to fall into. Enchanted April, The Great Gatsby, All-of-a-Kind Family, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Range of Motion, Winter Solstice... Whatever book it is, I want to get to look like this. Isn't she completely lovely?
What about you? What book would you like to wake up in the middle of?

Beautiful Relyn!!! She took my breath when I scrolled down and saw her ~ what a neat thought to be in a book...mine would be a craft book I'm afraid! ~ wishing you a wonderful weekend, xxoo, Dawn
Eat, Pray, Love. Hands down.
It might not be to prolific...but I would really like to go and eat my way through Italy, pray in India, and fall in love in Bali. Oh that sounds so good right now...
both photos STUNNING!
I'm thinking I'm thinking....
Hey Sweet Girl,
Great question. I love it.
Ender’s Game
Pride and Prejudice
My Antonia
The Invention of Hugo Cabret
I love you,
Relyn's Husband
Fantastic question with a hat to match!
I would love to fall into The Girl with a Pearl Earring. I would live in the Golden Era of The Netherlands in the town of Delft living in Johannes Vermeer's household. I would grind his pigments for him and then he would paint my portrait. There, my fantasy is complete.
A Wrinkle in Time. That is just my favorite book, ever. Great post and fun thought to ponder!
Right now, I would like to be dropped into the Pushkin poem Eugene Onegin. I'm really in a Russian mode right now. And could I look just like Liv Tyler in the movie~?
She is beautiful.
Excellent question. For me it might be one of Robert Merle's book from the Fortune de France series.
Beautiful picture, that book (am a book addict too).
Thank you for dropping by Word of the Day.
Oh this question is just lovely.
Hmm... I will come back to answer this one.
I can't thank you enough for all the thoughtful comments you have left on our blog. It truly, without a doubt, made my day. To think that someone is interested enough to go back and read old posts. Oh... it makes it all worthwhile. I have fallen deep into this blogging world and it's because of sincere ladies like you.
This is an interesting question. First thing that comes to mind is "A Year in Provence"
btw i love your playlist and your blog name - it's so warm and inviting.
it is like have a class act book list reading the comments that have been left. the book that just keep coming to mind if the time traveler's wife but i don't even know who i would want to be of why since it is a book that breaks my heart. but is also my favorite love story to date :) but where i would live and often do is at Hogwarts!!
that hat you are wearing is stupendous! and such lovely pink lips yo have my dear.
xo
Hello Friend,
I am loving it, catching up and reading all your lovely posts! What a thought provoking question ~ I would have to say Secret Life of Bees because I always wanted to be surrounded with smart, strong, loving women when I was at that tender age in life. And in Second place would be YaYa Sisterhood because I loved those gals.
See you tomarriee. k
oh..dear..this is such a difficult question but i LOVE it !!
right now, i just don't know...I have a weakness for Adan or ardor by Nabokov but Alice in wonderland sounds great too !!
first....the picture of that book is FANTASTIC...did you take that photo ?
and what book would I be in....because it's coming out in movie form this weekend, I'd pick "the secret life of bees" ....and yes, I'll be at the theatre this weekend to see it !
What a GREAT picture! I think I would want to fall into Pride and Predjudice or Anne's House of Dreams or Cheaper by the Dozen or... So many to choose from! Great question...I will be thinking about the rest of the day as I scoot around my little library!
The idea of living in a book is quite intriguing - as is that fabulous hat!
oh, what a lovely question...i must think on this. i am a bit distracted---i just noticed your family read aloud list!---we also have family read alouds. :)we just read the invention of hugo cabret-loved it so! before that it was the silver crown and before that little house in the big woods. we are currently heading into chapter 3 of inkheart. i must add the hobbit to our list.
I would want to fall into Chocolat.
Not just because I have a thing for chocolate, but I also have a romantic notion of moving to a tiny village in France...I would live in an older structure, with warm colours on the walls and flower boxes on the window sills, giant open windows looking out over the town and its quiet happenings. A place where I could go down the cobblestone street and find bread and vegetables and flowers daily in little street markets. A place where I could eventually fit in with the interesting and quirky locals.
And to own a little chocolate shop would be the icing on the cake!
love this question
