Pink... With a Little Help From My Friends

Once upon a Thursday, a blogging teacher asked her second graders a question. "Would you all be willing to help me out? I am making a list and I'd like your help." As all kids do, they rushed in to aid any adult who was willing to ask. "Tell me, class," she said, "When I say pink, what do you think of?"

Oh, one more bit of goodness. I recently discovered a terrific new blog. She has a fantastic Etsy shop, and she's having a giveaway. Won't you stop by and visit? You'll be glad that you did.

moon sand! Isn't that wonderful?

I love the minds of children. Each one of these things brought a smile to my face.

Pink pens and picture frame huh?!

Pink always meant a girl color too; so I would try to ignore pink. I am learning to love it and love that it is the symbol for breast cancer. Thanks for sharing the list from your students. Oh a pink piglet is so cute.

What a fun exercise with the kiddies, Relyn. When I saw "Sloane" written there, I immediately imagined a fun teenager with bright pink hair. :)

PS: I have to ask you, Relyn, HOW do you read so many books so quickly!!! I can't keep up with your reading list! So many good finds!

LOVE the list AND the idea. I may have to "borrow" it for a future post.... I'll choose another colour or word though. :)

Oldies, but Goodies
