A Conversation

Hi, honey. I bought you a treat.
Oh, yummy. Thanks for buying me a pear, Mommy.
You're welcome. Hey, I need to borrow it before you can eat it.

Hunh?

Momma needs to use it for some pictures.

Pictures?

Yes, Momma needs the pear for a little bit.

Can I eat my pear yet?

Not yet. Soon.
Okkkkayyyyyyy....
Can you hurry?

You are SO hooked. Come Christmas, gifts will stay wrapped a bit longer than the recipients' would like, you will say bad things to the wind when it blows a leaf that was sitting oh-so-perfectly in an oh-so-perfect spot, and oh . . . you will see. Too late to turn back.

And I love this image, the mood it evokes.

My problem is always that I never have my camera when I need it. I've missed a couple of great photo ops this week due to that fact! So my suggestion is...buy a pretty, comfortable strap and wear that camera ALL THE TIME! ;)

Thia is a wonderful pear photograph. It looks like a painting. I hope it was worth the wait and Sloane enjoyed every bite.

Hee! I have had many similar conversations with various family members. No one can eat that lasagna until I take a picture--or that chocolate cake or that slice of watermelon. I am a cruel, cruel woman. So are you, but boy is your pear picture pretty!

ps My verification word is "peacie." Isn't that perfect?

Hi Relyn,

That could be classed as torture, you know? Buy a pound of pears next time!

Oh so just like home!...Since I started taking more photos I find myself buying things just because I want to take a picture of them...but pears are particularly photogenic:)
