I love the odd and unusual :) There is the most bizarre flower coming out of the ugliest vine in my parents neighborhood. I must take a picture of it. It's so unique and pretty.
Gorgeous photo! I guess I love fashion's lean to messy no-thought down hair with the highest couture. At first I didn't but now this weird detail is sort of enduring and makes for great photos.
Hoping you have a lovely weekend Relyn! xo Mary Jo
Cabbage. Cutting open a purple cabbage, I was mesmerized by the webbing and weaving....like an intricate constellation inside a humble veggie. Pretty cool. Happy weekend, Jennifer
Being here in Oregon now, I'm finding beauty in just about everything. I have huge but tall windows and the reflection of the leaves from the trees casts a beautiful shadow on my wall that I find amazing!
I'm afraid we don't take the time to look at the beauty around us. There was a lady who came in the bank that I waited on. Her face was grotesque from a bout with cancer, yet she had a lovely smile in spite of her crooked face and I always enjoyed seeing that smile. She's gone now and I miss her smile.
love this! I have found strange beauty in our dead plants in the backyard from this summer heat... makes me sad to know that soon there will be no more summer heat and helps me cherish it while it is here.
I notice that especially the older I get. The last thing that really stood out was the bare tree branches last winter. I was intrigued with their beauty. Funny, I'd never noticed them before...
That is a wonderful photo. It has been so hot here that I feel as if I'm missing summer. However, I have really enjoyed the strange colors and clouds that have come along with all this heat.

Well, this is a stunner. I've noticed some odd tree roots lately -- some that look like a creepy crawly witches hand!
I watched two hummingbirds
flying through the sprinkler
kids!

They look a lot like the bird, and can fool you! God's creation is SO amazing and unusual!

Happy weekend,

i'm always loving weird patterns and colors
Complexity seen up close is always beautiful. It's so easy to see only the surface and bypass what is deeper.

Oh, I think almost anything around us has something to offer if we have the inclination to look, which I admit I don't always do!
abounding in beauty!!!

The corn that I thought was corn isn't ... but I have no idea what it is.
I've always operated witht he theory that there is beauty in everything if you just know how to look for it :-)

We're all a buzz (pun intended!) about the Asian Longhorn Beetle. It's been found around here, and I think it can be pretty deadly to trees.
Still...it's an incredible bug - it's black with white spots and long flowing black and white antennae - as if Coco Chanel designed a bug.
Take a peak http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2010/07/asian_longhorne.html
