A Passion for the Human Heart

Today's guest, Chenoa of Meandering Pearl, is one of my favorite photographers. She is dreamy and romantic and entirely self-taught, which gives me hope. Once she told me, "I never know if people will like my photos. I think the beauty of photography, though, is that at the moment someone takes a photo, no one else in the world could have taken that exact photo. That makes it special and connects us somehow; makes our photos a great part of our human history & family." Yes. Exactly.

I have been pondering most profusely what I could share that could be of worth, while wondering if i have the photos that would compliment the decor of this wondrous blog.

Several things I am passionate about crossed my mind.

craft ~ a desire to create beautiful objects/journals/artwork to warm others' hearts

writing ~ penning words that glitter & sparkle under the telescope of the heart & shine in the atmosphere of the soul

taking photos ~ freezing a moment of this fluid reality, & allowing it to be a droplet in the pool of human history. I especially love taking portraits as everyone is a part of this important human tale we are writing together.

Upon trying to illuminate one of these to expand upon, I realized that they are all a part of the same thing. It is something I know Relyn is as passionate as me about; the state of the human heart. How to care for it. How to help others grow. How to help their journey be a beautiful one.

I think this is one reason why we blog. I think we blog to share with others something of the special! We blog to be little light flickering on a dark day; to communicate a compliment via comments that we leave. We blog to share the things we are passionate about with others who are searching and with others who feel the same.

It has been a privilege and a joy! Sending loveliest thoughts ~ Chenoa
