Sunday Morning Poetry

pink sea urchin, magnified

Magnifying Glass

Small grains
in a stone
grow edges
that twinkle.

The smooth
moth's wing
sprouts feathers
like shingles;

My thumb
is wrapped
in rich
satin wrinkles.

Now I must contemplate these words. Hummmm? I get the first and second thoughts, but the last one has me stumped. Thinking! Your photo, gorgeous!

I like your Friday faves pic.....clematis isn't it? It's a slightly different purple than the wild ones that grow here. Did you take the sea urchin too? Never actually seen one of those.

My thumb is wrapped in wrinkles, too -- unfortunately, not rich, satin ones. Beautiful photos.

Oldies, but Goodies
