T is for: December Reflections

T is for thankful.

Tonight I am so thankful for our friends and my parents.  We had ice on Monday and Jeffrey drove Sloane and I to school.  A big truck hit a patch of ice and t-boned Jeffrey.  Jeffrey is going to be fine, though we can't say the same for our car which was totaled.  Jeffrey's knee was fractured, and he'll be on crutches for at least six weeks.  This morning our friends came over and climbed up in our attic so that we could get all our Christmas decorations down.  Then, tonight my parents came over to deliver a Christmas tree so we wouldn't have to clamber around and deal with that.  Oh yes, T is for thankful.

I hope your husband heals well and that the Christmas spirit lives on in everyone's hearts.
The season is for caring and sharing and spreading love and good cheer.

Golly I am very glad the accident was no worse, and that you have such good helpers at hand. Best wishes to Jeffrey for swift healing. I've been doing some blog catching-up and have enjoyed your December Reflections.

So glad he's ok, hate icy roads, that's part of why I don't do winter. It's wonderful that you have family and friends to help out.

LOVELY image, Relyn! So glad your husband is OK, and hope he will be feeling better in time for the holidays coming soon. So much to be thankful for these days! We're just back from a Thanksgiving/pre-Christmas trip to the US to see my family. I'm making a departure from blogland, but I'll still be around... ;o) Wishing you & yours a Happy Christmas and all the very best in 2015! ((HUGS))

Praying for your Jeffrey. I was hit a month apart two years ago. What a nightmare. God Blessed us, as my daughter was in the car and wasn't hurt.

So glad to meet you. I now follow your blog.
