two views down a Mission District alley
at the Legion of Honor museum ~ in an alley in the Mission District
I stopped in the crosswalk to take this picture. A driver
yelled out of the window at me, "What are you doing lady?" I yelled back,
"I'm taking a picture. What do you think?" Bloggers. You can tell them anywhere.

So, which one is more your style?
All pictures taken by me in San Francisco, July 2009.

Love the pictures, keep them coming. My favorite is the first one. You have an artists eye.
I second that. Keep em' coming. My favourite also is the first photograph.
Gosh, keep them coming! I adore the first one....it's amazing....so graphic in style. Super work. x
I love all your pictures
I love you ♥
i love the first one, especially!
Bring on the photos, Relyn...keep 'em comin'! I just love seeing photos of anything and everything... and it's been wonderful have so many glimpses of your trip--beautiful shots, beautiful moments... Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
I really miss San Fran. Haven't spent nearly enough time there. That top photo could be artwork.
Well....actually, Relyn, it's kind of like taking a mini trip. I love seeing all your shots. Keep them coming!
These are amazing photos! I love how you put the two different "views" side-by-side. I love them all.... I guess two of the most striking photos (besides the first!) are the one of the Legion of Honor Museum and the alley... and the last one of the two homes. Even though I'd probably like the Victorian (and softer colors), the Mission District's vibrant colors are just glorious!
great duets of styles~SF is such a super city for a photographer!
the mission district with the the graffiti walls....oh pure love !
I have to say the Mission District. Oh! You are making me crave a drive north...
:-)
Well-wishes,
Me
What a wonderful bunch of images!
As far as I'm concerned, you can show us as many photos of SF as you like! These are great, and I love the diptychs you created. Plus, I love your answer to the driver who asked what you were doing! You rock. xoxo Gigi
Am always happy to see photos of my fave American city! xo
I could never get too much San Francisco. My style would be more Mission district I think but the beauty of San Fran is that nothing is too far away.
I love every inch of it. And every inch of your blog for that matter.
Keep em coming. I love them all. . . the first one, though, is amazing.
My favorite is the one you had the convo with the driver about...such a dichotomy! I love seeing these images from your trip!
i love the legion of honor one, & the crosswalk one, filled with layers of education, then i love the other side, brimming with beauty of the soul
Wow, amazing photos...Loved the unphotographable moment.
P.S. The picture was sooo worth being yelled at for...

Room for it all...

There is Room for it all in the heart of one who is in wonder at life...

I simply had to comment, I came across your blog when searching for a recipie for rose tea <3 I am so pleasently surprised to see San Francisco! One reason among many that I hold the city so close to my heart is its diversity. That second picture is beautiful. It's wonderful all the that art found in the city. Take care!
i LOVE seeing all of your pictures. they're all so give us a good look at the city. but i particularly like the perspective you choose in the first one
and the on of the buildings - i mean who wouldn't want to stop and take a picture here? the contrast between those two buildings is so interesting.
please share more.
Juxtaposition...love the photos...
thanks.
Pictures are almost like being there...almost... I love the ones of old buildings and SF sure has an abundance of them! Keep on sharing!
