We are in "staycation" mode. But we live near the ocean, so we have been going to the beach a lot. Oh, and sleeping in. I love summer!
Your photos are beautiful!
I love the ocean. San Francisco is a part of my heart. We lived there during the flower children era, it changed our lives.
This summer is most hanging around Portland, enjoying the sunshine of summer. Travel time will come later in September.
Lovely photos to show us your San Francisco! One of my favorite cities, by the way.... I lived in San Jose as a child and was finally able to go back for a visit to San Francisco during the late 90s. I was so happy strolling my baby girl around and soaking up the sites.
My summer has consisted of early morning blogging, mid- to late-morning walks (even in the heat), actually cooking real meals and not waiting for my husband to come home and cook, a couple of trips to the beach, spending time with my daughter and my doggies, and... meeting new blog friends!
lovely lovely images. the last one, the ocean, melts my heart. love the seaside.
Hi~ The pics are gorgeous! SF is the best and a bad pic is impossible. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see more!
My summer, as you know, has been unsettling and sad, but I'm trying to work through it and am reveling in the time off! Lots of get togethers with friends.
Welcome home beautiful you!
I've been sitting here with a warm mug of orange coffee cradled in my hands as the baby bunnies forage in the dewy grass outside my window... all the while backtracking through your glorious adventures.
I thought of you while you've been away and it always brought a smile to my lips, thoughts that just made me want to hug my knees.
I'm so happy you are safely home wrapped up in marvelous memories, because visiting you here indeed feels so very much like home to me.
Welcome home dear friend.
xoxo
I really enjoyed seeing those pictures of San Francisco. We lived in Concord when my husband was in the Navy so your photos brought back lots of memories for me.
oh thank you I wanted to go to SF...not in the budget, these were wonderful! the view from the Mt Tamalpias is my fav!
i have been enjoying my birds, visiting colleges with my baby bird daughter ...a nest summer oh sounds like a post right?
Beautiful pictures! A must see - will add to my Bucket List.
Having recently moved to another state, I've been busy sorting through years of "treasures" and deciding how I would like to decorate.
And I have spend hours reading blogs for the last two months and started my own. It's an adventure and I can't wait to have a list of followers!!
I love, love the pictures from San Francisco. I'll be going in September for my bachelorette. I cannot wait.
Hello there and how very lovely to meet you. After hearing about you from Robin, I felt that I really did need to know you as well. Your images are lovely, and inspire me to really capture "where I am" with my constant companion and friend, Francis.
Have a lovely weekend,
xo
ooh your blog is cozy! love your summer shots!
Oh Relyn~ Your photos are exquisite! Thank you so much for sharing 'Your SF'! That view from Mt. Tam is one of my favorite places!! I lived in the City as a teenager and we spent Sundays there as a family, picnicing on a blanket reading our books with that very background!
Thank you for taking me there once again!
Kirsten
Love all you share.
Love you
What terrific scenes from your vacation...a perfect way to remember it!!! I've been up to a lot of school lately which is good but not that photogenic!

Love the last photo best - I'm missing the ocean this summer :-)
woo hoo look at these stunning photos! you sure did your camera justice. these are a perfect example of how when the eyes sees beauty the camera follows (i made that quote up to fit the occasion :) i want to go and look at mine and see what my view was of the same locations. each one of these are really well done in every way!
XOX
Oh, Relyn, these photos are spectacular! It's like a mini vacation just looking at them. I especially love the "curves" photo. You are such a talented lady with an eye for profound beauty. xoxo

Beautiful images, thanks for sharing.
Ohhhh, look at that view from Mt.Tamalpias! That's incredible! Did you drive up and hike?
Your eye is fabulous. That pot with the lovely curves is amazing. (My code word for verification is Rambo! Should be Thelma. Or Louise!)
We did drive up and hike. And, oh, the view! I think SF really should be on everyone's to travel list. It is the most amazing city!
Hello!!! since you are lucky number two you get to choose the next postcard...christina chose #3 so anything else is available. im so glad you joined in!! happy postcard making!!! & most wonderful wishes
Looks like you had a memorable trip, filled with fun, beauty and laughter!
Dear woman, your photos make my heart ache!!! Your eye for beauty, the angle, the perspective, the colors, the light. Just lovely. All of them frameable. SELLABLE!! That first photo of the GG bridge in the mist is my favorite. A close second is the waterlily, with the edge of it's purple petals reflected in the water. I so appreciate all the details you capture.
Anyway, as for our summer, well, I think you've seen the bulk of it on my blog--babies babies and more babies, with a bit of cooking here and there! :o)
A pleasure as always to visit you,
Linda
