My San Francisco

the world's most beautiful bridge

down by the Wharf with Alcatraz in the background

the view as we left Mt. Tamalpias

shadows along the path

geometry inside the Conservatory of Flowers

lovely curves

one perfect waterlily at the Conservatory of Flowers

I didn't use a zoom lense, this seagull really isn't shy.

It doesn't get much better than this.

I showed you mine, now will you show me yours?
What have you been up to this summer?

We are in "staycation" mode. But we live near the ocean, so we have been going to the beach a lot. Oh, and sleeping in. I love summer!

Your photos are beautiful!

I love the ocean. San Francisco is a part of my heart. We lived there during the flower children era, it changed our lives.

This summer is most hanging around Portland, enjoying the sunshine of summer. Travel time will come later in September.

Lovely photos to show us your San Francisco! One of my favorite cities, by the way.... I lived in San Jose as a child and was finally able to go back for a visit to San Francisco during the late 90s. I was so happy strolling my baby girl around and soaking up the sites.

My summer has consisted of early morning blogging, mid- to late-morning walks (even in the heat), actually cooking real meals and not waiting for my husband to come home and cook, a couple of trips to the beach, spending time with my daughter and my doggies, and... meeting new blog friends!

Hi~ The pics are gorgeous! SF is the best and a bad pic is impossible. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see more!
My summer, as you know, has been unsettling and sad, but I'm trying to work through it and am reveling in the time off! Lots of get togethers with friends.

Welcome home beautiful you!

I've been sitting here with a warm mug of orange coffee cradled in my hands as the baby bunnies forage in the dewy grass outside my window... all the while backtracking through your glorious adventures.

I thought of you while you've been away and it always brought a smile to my lips, thoughts that just made me want to hug my knees.

I'm so happy you are safely home wrapped up in marvelous memories, because visiting you here indeed feels so very much like home to me.
Welcome home dear friend.
xoxo

I really enjoyed seeing those pictures of San Francisco. We lived in Concord when my husband was in the Navy so your photos brought back lots of memories for me.

Beautiful pictures! A must see - will add to my Bucket List.

Having recently moved to another state, I've been busy sorting through years of "treasures" and deciding how I would like to decorate.

And I have spend hours reading blogs for the last two months and started my own. It's an adventure and I can't wait to have a list of followers!!

Oh Relyn~ Your photos are exquisite! Thank you so much for sharing 'Your SF'! That view from Mt. Tam is one of my favorite places!! I lived in the City as a teenager and we spent Sundays there as a family, picnicing on a blanket reading our books with that very background!
Thank you for taking me there once again!

Dear woman, your photos make my heart ache!!! Your eye for beauty, the angle, the perspective, the colors, the light. Just lovely. All of them frameable. SELLABLE!! That first photo of the GG bridge in the mist is my favorite. A close second is the waterlily, with the edge of it's purple petals reflected in the water. I so appreciate all the details you capture.
Anyway, as for our summer, well, I think you've seen the bulk of it on my blog--babies babies and more babies, with a bit of cooking here and there! :o)
A pleasure as always to visit you,
Linda

Oldies, but Goodies
