I can't believe we never did this before.
Sloane slept under the tree this Christmas Eve, and it was magical.
She bundled up and fell asleep to the quiet murmur of parents and grandparents reminiscing in front of the fireplace nearby.
She slept sweetly with a soft glow of Christmas lights illuminating her face.
She woke rubbing her sleepy eyes and blinking at all the magic.

And me? Well, I'm so glad that the magic never really ends.

What a great idea to sleep under the tree. How sweet! I tell my girls that as hard as it is to believe--Christmas just gets better and better. It is fun being the adult at Christmas, too!
Warm, woolly wishes for a wonderful 2010, Relyn~!
This will be a Christmas that Sloane will remember forever. Imagine, waking up under the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree to find presents all around you!
Magic, definitely!

How magical!!!! I remember lying under the tree as a little girl and just LOVING it!! I would NOT fit now- although I should really go and try.... I do think you are on to something though...LOVE the Flickr stream- your pics are gorgeous as is your house! Thanks for sharing!
Simply beautiful!
This is something I never did as a child, and now wish I had!
I think though, that I would have been scared to open my eyes and see Santa staring straight back at me. I was afraid of the tooth fairy in much the same way.
Is that a swarovski crystal snowflake?! I bought my second this year and I thought of you! I know how you love hanging crystals :)
