Christmas Glipses

I can't believe we never did this before.
Sloane slept under the tree this Christmas Eve, and it was magical.
She bundled up and fell asleep to the quiet murmur of parents and grandparents reminiscing in front of the fireplace nearby.
She slept sweetly with a soft glow of Christmas lights illuminating her face.
She woke rubbing her sleepy eyes and blinking at all the magic.

And me? Well, I'm so glad that the magic never really ends.

What a great idea to sleep under the tree. How sweet! I tell my girls that as hard as it is to believe--Christmas just gets better and better. It is fun being the adult at Christmas, too!

This is something I never did as a child, and now wish I had!
I think though, that I would have been scared to open my eyes and see Santa staring straight back at me. I was afraid of the tooth fairy in much the same way.
