You know how I told you that I always wear rose colored glasses, at least in the rear-view mirror?
Do you remember how hard it is for me to let go of the old until I've fully savored it?
Not this time.
2012? Not my year.
Just. Not. My. Year!
2013? Bring it!
It just has to be better.
As I reflected on 2012, I did notice that it was the first year in a long time that I didn't choose a word to be my guide, my daily nudge. I don't really think that's why last year was so stinky, but maybe it's absence played a part. Just in case, I think I'll be sure to choose a word for 2013.
I don't have it yet, but I'm thinking about it. What about you? Do you do this? Choose a word for the year? If you do, what's yours?

humility. it's already be helpful. xox
I, too, found 2012 to be a difficult year. People disappointed me. I felt like I was in a holding pattern all year long. It was not good.
However, 2013 is already going better for me. I picked BALANCE as my word of the year. It is the perfect daily nudge for me right now.
Can't wait to see what word you decide on.
My word is enJOY....sp. that way. I didn't want a challenge. I want to bring joy and to enjoy. Hope your 2013 is a really good year for you.
Mine are sparkle and shine..........
Love your postings
Blessings my friend

I coose....wordless
.hee hee how's that for a word
What an interesting idea, I'll have to think about it not just pick one off the top of my head.
Yes, I was right along with you. I now fondly refer to 2012 as the Year of Suckage. The flu during Christmas sealed the deal (though I do appreciate the year's commitment to theme! :)
So here's to 2013 . . . may it be full of laughter, mercy, and grace!
My word is SHINE.
I will look forward to your word choosing you and then letting us know what it is.
I'm sorry to hear about 2012. I hope that 2013 brings you only the best of everything. What a great idea to choose a word! I have to think a little bit about my word for 2013.
held.

I am sorry about you 2012, Relyn, and I wish you only wonderful things in 2013.
I've never chosen a word, but I just may consider it.
Happy day to you!
xo.
Hum... I think that's a good ideia... It's hard to choose a word, I'll need to think about this... Let you know later! :)
strong words for a strong woman
Wishing you and OUTSTANDING year, Relyn! :o) I often use more than one word, words that compliment in some way. I just wrote about this earlier this week. For 2013 my guide words are--Presence, Play, Seasons and Simplicity. ((HUGS))
