It's my birthday soon and, as is our tradition, my Mom asked for a birthday/ Christmas wish list. It works! Last year I received several things on my list. Including the 100 yellow balloons. Why not try again?

an iMac with a HUGE screen
a vintage camper and another long road trip next summer
a crystal chandelier
this garden, this party, and especially this lace tablecloth
Hmmmm... Maybe I am hard to buy for after all.

happy almost birthday sweet girl....
i've learned that as i've gotten older, i've gotten selfish with my wishes....as in, i'm done wishing and just going out and getting, instead :)
a new camera and some lenses are on their way to me as i type this and the 21.5 desktop mac will be finding my home soon...
so keep wishing...since that's what we all do....but i'm urging you to just go out and get what you want.
it seems that the message of "life is too short" is written everywhere lately....

Well.... you could buy the camper first, move into it and then get all the other stuff. Or.... you could start with the iMac. Mine is large screen, and it's absolutely wonderful! Especially if you're going to work on photography and art. Also.... my iPad literally got me through five weeks of surgery recuperation having to lay flat on my back all day, so much easier than if I had been without. Streaming Netfix, working with the art app, and blogging. Can you tell I'm a fan? Go Apple!

A birthday list! I love it. I hope you had (or have) the most wonderful birthday ever.
I have that iMac and it is lovely. I ended up getting the smaller screen, though. When I sat in front of the giant one, like if it were at my desk, it was just too too large. I needed a bigger head or a deeper desk. ;)
