I just love that you did this! It's such a treat for us, of course, but also, how wonderful and affirming it is for you to look back on all the goodness that was part of your life last year. And what better way to enter into the new year than with a heart full of gratitude!
what a fantastic year and i have enjoyed following you, knowing you, being inspired by you. Hope the New Year is just as wonderful for you and your family.
I've just had a wonderful half-hour with you. You're such a gifted person and I feel blessed to have met you. Your thoughts on teaching help me become a better teacher, too. May you have another meaningful year!
I think I still love "The Corner was Mine" the best. It makes me cry every time I read it -- for every child that has been humiliated by a teacher too full of his/her power and too short of compassion; for the goodness of every teacher like you.
Relyn, I just loved these snippets but the one about the walk done me in. I have always been a Mom that said yes more than no and taught my girls to embrace the moment and be aware of what is around them. I have two, very happy, secure teenagers that I love very much and saying yes has a lot to do with it! Sorry for my punctuation and spelling errors. I was out smelling the roses rather than studing LOL! You sound like a wonderful teacher also.
My goodness, your place is such a treasure trove of words, images and beautiful thoughts. Thank you so much for all your visits and comments and birthday wishes. I had a wonderful day! And D and I are delighted that you are starting the Arkangel series with Twelfth Night. How sweet! xo – g
